Install Windows Vista from DVD
This wizard guides you through a Vista installation and helps you get started with Windows Vista. Installing Windows Vista takes between 15 and 60 minutes depending on the hardware you have. Expect also that you must have a partition that has at least 10GB of free disk space for 32-bit version and at least 15GB for 64-bit version. Remember that you can not have Windows Vista on the same partition as an existing Windows installation. You can solve this by dividing your disk into multiple partitions, read more on this below.
This guide applies to: All versions of Windows Vista.
Step 1 - Choose Windows Vista 32 - or 64-bit version
Windows Vista comes in both a 32-bit and 64-bit version. The differences between them include the 64-bit version can use four gigabytes of working memory or more and that it has more safety features than the 32-bit version. 32-bit version of Vista can use a maximum of about three gigabytes of working memory because of limitations in 32-bitarsarktitekturen.

Step 2 - Preparing to take if you do not have a spare drive or partition
